A killer murdered her heavily pregnant friend, then cut the woman’s unborn baby out of her womb, only for the infant to die as well, police say. Taylor Parker, 27, is accused of killing Reagan Hancock, 21, at her home in New Boston, Texas, last Friday. The premature infant, Braxlynn Sage, died the same day.
Parker is said to have confessed to the murders, and reportedly committed the horrific crime after lying to her boyfriend that she was pregnant with her own child. She was stopped by a Texas State Trooper with the lifeless infant in her car, it is alleged.
Parker reportedly told the cop she’d gone into labor on the side of the road, and an ambulance was called. She was rushed to a hospital just over the Oklahoma state line, where doctors determined that Parker had not given birth, and were unsuccessful in their efforts to revive Braxlynn.
Mom-of-one Reagan’s mother Jessica Brookes, who found her daughter’s body, wrote on Facebook afterwards: ‘I don’t have it in me right now to make a long post. But mainly I am begging for prayers without ceasing for our family.
‘Our beautiful daughter Reagan Hancock and her precious unborn baby girl Braxlynn were murdered yesterday by Satan in the flesh. I found her and Marcus and Chris were on scene right after me.
‘Our family, friends, & community are rocked to the core! Our Reagan was one of the most precious people you would ever meet. Please I beg keep us in your prayers.’
Reagan married husband Homer last year, with the couple parents to a three year-old daughter. The dead woman had clearly been excited by the prospect of becoming a mother
Her younger sister Emily Simmons told KSLA: ‘She’s just something you can’t replace.
‘The good thing about it is she’s everywhere now.’ Morton, a mother of two, is said to have faked her pregnancy in a series of Facebook posts made before Hancock’s murder. One photo uploaded in August shows Morton cradling her belly while holding onto a horse.
Hancock has so far been charged with murder and kidnapping, with further counts likely to follow.
