S'pore landmark study finds children of convicted offenders more likely to get into trouble with the law

SINGAPORE – A landmark study here has found that children whose parents have had criminal convictions are significantly more likely to get into trouble with the law themselves.

Specifically, children whose parents were convicted for their offences are about three times as likely to have been convicted of an offence themselves.
