Young Indonesians turn to farming, offering hope for country's agriculture sector

JAKARTA – Some young Indonesians are abandoning comfortable desk-bound jobs in the city to toil on the land as farmers.

In tourism hotspot Bali, Mr Agung Wedhatama, who has a master’s degree in information technology decided to do so in 2013 when he was 29, leaving behind the IT business that he had set up .
