The Queen has traditionally been celebrating Christmas with the Royal Family at the Sandringham estate. And despite the distance their departure created, Her Majesty ensured to send over a special present to great-grandson Archie Harrison, Prince Harry confirmed. Meghan Markle has been treating the tot with fresh waffles thanks to the waffle maker Her Majesty sent over for his first Christmas.
Prince Harry told James Corden earlier this year: “My grandmother asked what Archie wants for Christmas, and Meg said a waffle maker.
“She sent us a waffle maker for Archie, so breakfast now, Meg makes up a beautiful like organic mix in the waffle maker.
“Flip it! Out it comes, He [Archie] loves it, and now what he does put yogurt and jam on top. I don’t know if that’s the right thing to do.
“He loves it.”

Mr Corden said “You are glossing over the fact. I cannot for the life of me imagine the Queen ordering a waffle maker to be sent to son. I can’t get my head around.”
However, the Royal Family is known for their peculiar gift-giving, as the Queen is insistent only gag presents should be exchanged at Christmas time.
For her very-first Christmas at Sandringham, the Duchess of Sussex gifted the Queen a singing toy hamster that made Queen “laugh out loud”.
Her Majesty reportedly replied: “It can keep my dogs company.”

According to the reports claimed by the only publication The List: “As also revealed by The List from the Mirror, the famous Christmas cards are been prepared by the Queen herself in summer.
“The Royal Family’s Christmas celebration are incomplete without gag gifts keeping up with their German tradition.
“Meghan Markle once gave the Queen a singing hamster that caused her to burst out laughing.
“Charles was elated to receive a leather toilet seat from sister Princess Anne.”
