A teenager is currently fighting for his life after being stabbed in broad daylight in north London.
The 15-year-old boy is currently in a critical condition in hospital after he was knifed in Haringey this morning.
He was rushed to hospital after police received reports of a stabbing at 11.14am in Willan Road, in the Broadwater Farm Estate.
The young boy’s parents have been informed of the incident and no arrests have yet been made.
The attack comes just a day after a 39-year-old Lee Casey was stabbed to death in Brixton – becoming the fifth knife crime victim to die in the capital in just over two weeks.
And on Monday Santino Angelo Dymiter, 18, was knifed to death in Newham, after it is believed he was chased around the estate following a dispute over money at a kebab shop.
A crime scene remains in place and officers are still at the scene.
A Met Police spokesperson said: ‘Police were called at 11.14am to reports of a stabbing at Willan Road, N17.
‘Officers and London Ambulance Service attended.
‘At the scene a 15-year-old boy was found suffering from stab wounds.
‘He was taken by London Ambulance Service to an east London hospital where his condition is critical’.
