Video footage shows the awkward moment a Hyundai crashed into a luxury Lamborghini – then drove over its expensive bonnet.

The smash happened yesterday morning when the blue Hyundai i40 pulled out of a junction in Leeds, West Yorkshire, just after a white van.

The driver appeared to not see the white Lamborghini Huracan Performante, which is worth around £250,000.

The family saloon vehicle smashed into the supercar – but instead of stopping, it continued to drive straight over the bonnet like it wasn’t there.

Pictured from the scene show the convertible wedged under the body of the Hyundai.

It was not clear whether the Lamborghini was a write-off, but it looked seriously damaged under the weight of the blue car.

Police attended the scene and confirmed no one was seriously injured in the crash.

A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: ‘At 10.24am today, police were called to a road traffic collision involving a Lamborghini and a Hyundai at the junction of Whitehall Road and Dixon Lane in Leeds.

‘There were no serious injuries.’
