CCTV shows 'man with English accent' attacking Sydney bus driver with 'pepper spray'

Officers said the man, who is said to have spoken with an English accent, had been told he couldn’t board the vehicle because it was full.

He was then accused of verbally abusing the driver before the attack in Surry Hills, Sydney, on Thursday.

New South Wales Police has released footage showing the man arguing with the driver before sitting on the dashboard and spraying something in his face.

Paramedics were called when the 41-year-old male driver began having trouble breathing.
