Prince William and Princess Kate’s youngest, Louis, who previously captured the nation’s hearts during the Platinum Jubilee for his hilarious facial expressions, did not let viewers down during the coronation.
The event saw a return of Louis’ iconic scream in reaction to the Red Arrow flypast during the royal family’s appearance on the balcony.
Meanwhile, the historic significance of the day was apparently not enough to keep the five-year-old occupied, as he was spotted yawning several times during the lengthy service in Westminster Abbey.
He shared several adorable moments with Princess Charlotte, including pointing something out to her during the ceremony and holding her hand as they walked into the event.
Princess Charlotte had her own fair share of cute moments during proceedings.
Many commentators noticed how she took care of her youngest brother Prince Louis throughout the day.
She could also be seen adopting her own regal manner as her confidence when appearing in public appears to grow.
Charlotte wore a beautiful white dress with stunning embroidery and a sweet flowery headpiece, matching her mum’s outfit.
Finally, future King Prince George looked especially cute as he took on a very special role for the day.
At the age of just nine, the young prince and future King was one of eight Pages of Honour.
With fellow page boys Lord Oliver Cholmondley, Nicholas Barclay, and Ralph Tollemache, George had the extremely important task of carrying his grandfather King Charles’s robe throughout the ceremony.
Prince George appeared truly enamoured by the crowd and the flypasts above in the historic moment which also signified his new position as second-in-line to the throne.

It marked a step up for George, as he took on the important role independently from his parents William and the Princess of Wales.
His younger siblings – Princess Charlotte, eight, and Prince Louis, five, – were wedged between William and Kate in the front row during the ceremony.
George and his siblings will, eventually, be expected to carry out an array of official engagements as adult working members of the royal family.
