Donald Trump ‘surprised’ Harry invited to Coronation

Donald Trump has lashed out at Meghan Markle and Prince Harry for stepping down from senior royal duties in his UK interview with GB News.

The former president told host Nigel Farage that he is “surprised” the royal couple were invited to King Charles’s coronation on May 6.

Trump told GB News: “I think it’s going to be a great day and they will going to do a great job and he loves the country.

“I got to know him quite well and he really loves the country and he loves his mother

“He (Charles) loves the country, I got to know him quite well. He loved his mother too.

“She was treated so disrespectfully by Meghan and there was no reason to do that.

“I was actually surprised that Harry was invited to the Coronation to be honest.”

Trump added: “I think she [Meghan] has been very disrespectful to the Queen. How can you be so disrespectful to the Queen?

“She was incredible, for decades and decades she never made a mistake. I cannot think of a mistake she made, she was never controversial.

“She went through years and decades without controversy. You cannot be disrespectful to her and I think Meghan was very disrespectful to her, very disrespectful.”

Farage noted: “I think up until her death, she was the most popular human being in the world. The respect she commanded throughout the Commonwealth and America, she was amazing.”
