Every Tuesday and Friday the EuroMillions draw is held, giving ticket holders two chances to win every week. Not only is the £76million jackpot up for grabs in tonight’s draw, but everyone with a ticket is also in for a chance to take home £1million in the Millionaire Maker.

Tickets for tonight’s EuroMillions draw close at 7.30pm, with the numbers due to be called at 8.45pm.

The results will be published live here as they are drawn, but will also appear on the National Lottery website from around 9.30pm.

To bag the jackpot ticket holders need to match the five main numbers plus two lucky stars.

While the Millionaire Maker will be decided by a code, which appears on every ticket.

Tickets for the EuroMillions can be bought online, via the National Lottery app or in select stores.

Also taking place tonight is the Thunderball, which has a £500,000 jackpot.

The Thunderball takes place earlier than the EuroMillions, at 8pm on Tuesdays and Fridays then on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 8.15pm.

Matching just the five main numbers will bag you £5,000, while four main numbers plus the Thunderball is worth £250.

Playing lottery games like EuroMillions and Thunderball raises money for causes across the UK.

According to the National Lottery website, this week alone players have raised £11,968,798.

These go towards causes “from repairing Scout huts to making Olympic and Paralympic champions”.

From total ticket sales of £8,373.9 million in the year ending March 31, 2021:

  • £1,887.5 million was raised for National Lottery projects
  • £4,854.7 million was paid to players in prizes
  • £1,004.8 million went to the Government in Lottery Duty
  • £275.9 million was earned by retailers in commission

Of this, the funds were shared as follows:

  • Health, education, environment and charitable causes – 40 percent
  • Sport – 20 percent
  • Arts – 20 percent
  • Heritage – 20 percent
