West Yorkshire Police released the image of Jonathan Cahill, 37, in a bid to find him as he is wanted on prison recall. Cahill was released from prison last September after serving part of a sentence for burglary.
Police believe he has breached the terms of his release and has been recalled to prison.
A spokesman for West Yorkshire Police said: “Officers are continuing enquiries to locate Cahill, who is described as being of medium build and approximately six feet tall.
“He is believed to be currently residing in Wakefield.”
However, police have received more than 7,000 messages from admirers hoping to catch him before cops do, Hull Live reported.
One response read: “I hope he’s not out in the cold.
“I have a spare room if he wants… Oh and a pair of handcuffs.”
Others compared him to American fugitive Jeremy Meeks who was labelled the “world’s hottest felon” in 2014 and received a modelling contract on his release.
Sarah Tosney wrote: “Yorkshire’s very own Jeremy Meeks. His mugshot earned him right bragging rights!”
Helen Marie said: “Leave it with me, I’ll find him.”
While Katie Mae added: “Ooft talk about a fit felon.”
June Brown wrote: “What’s his crime; breaking hearts or houses?”
Vicky Christensen said: “Christ almighty. He can hide under my bed.”

Caroline Hewick joked: “If I find him he’ll be begging the police to take him! 58-year-old in a powerchair last seen on m62 chasing wanted felon!”
Alex Hopkins added: “You’re not having him back I’m currently looking to handcuff him to my bed.”
Becky Mitchell said: “He was in prison for burglary… must be all those hearts he stole.”
Rachel List quipped: “He’ll be asking for police protection soon enough when he sees this.”
On the other hand, others were not impressed and said they could not see the attraction.
Victoria Banks said: “Aim higher ladies, no wonder half of you have terrible relationships and can’t figure out what’s gone wrong.”
Another Facebook user wrote: “I must need to go to Specsavers because I can’t see what everyone else seems to be seeing”
However, Lisa Marie Puente summed up the comments by adding: “Everyone loves a bad boy.”
