A gunman was stabbed after firing shots at a crowd of mourners in Manchester.
Friends and family gathered at Gorton Cemetery to pay their final respects to Clive Pinnock, 38, on Thursday.
The Manchester Evening News reports that a man walked into the crowd and opened fire.
It is understood three shots were fired, but no one has reported being injured.
Armed police scrambled to the scene in time to save the gunman’s life. He is in hospital for treatment. The gun has not been found.
‘A man aged 34 was found to have suffered knife wounds and was taken to hospital.
Enquiries are ongoing.’
No further information has been released and no arrests have been made.
