Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have shared adorable pictures of baby Lilibet as part of their new Netflix documentary. Since her birth on June 4, 2021, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have only shared two photos of their youngest child. One marked her first birthday earlier this year, and the other was for the couple’s official family Christmas image. But Lilibet appears in two fleeting moments in the new Netflix documentary series – the first part of which premiered this morning in the UK.
During the first episode of the first three released so far, Meghan is seen sharing a number of pictures from the couple’s early relationship right up until the present day.
The first is a black and white selfie of Meghan holding her baby daughter in what appears to be Lilibet’s nursery at the couple’s home in Montecito, California.
This picture appears to have been taken shortly after her birth in July 2021 and shows the Duchess of Sussex hugging the newborn, whose face can be seen in the image.
The walls of Lilibet’s nursery are seen decorated with with wildlife illustrations – including a squirrel above the door to the room and tree branches around her changing table.
Later in the first half of the documentary series, Harry and Meghan also share a photo of the prince lovingly kissing a newborn baby – thought to be their daughter – on the nose.
In a further intimate moment, Harry is seen reading a story to Lilibet and son Archie on the sofa of their home in the US.
The video footage – possibly taken by Meghan – shows the her young daughter sitting on the prince’s lap as he reads a book he holds out in front of him.
A young Archie – who is now three-and-a-half years old – is heard speaking in an American accent in one of the earlier moments in the first part of the documentary series.
In the same clip with Lilibet, he is seen perching on the side – also engrossed by the story being read to him by his doting father.
The couple’s dogs – rescue beagle Mia and their black labrador – are seen on the other side of the sofa and relaxing in a sunny spot.
As the adorable footage plays, Harry says: “Equally, what is most important is that we don’t repeat the same mistakes that perhaps our parents made.”
The first episode of the Netflix series shows a barefooted Harry pushing Archie across the floor as he sits on a wheeled suitcase.

The clip then buts to the Duke of Sussex saying: “As a dad, and as parents, I think consent is a really key piece to this. That if you have children it should be your consent as to what you share.”
Footage, filmed by Meghan in their garden, shows her saying: “Both the babies are down. Nice calm night. Just picking some roses.” The Duchess of Sussex is also seen feeding chickens with a child in a harness attached to her front.
Immediately afterwards, a picture of what appears to be Archie’s first birthday appears, featuring Harry and Meghan, along with Meghan’s mother – Doria Ragland.
The second episode of the series see Harry walking with his young son, who can be heard speaking with an American accent, before the duke says: “My son, my daughter, my children are mixed race, and I’m really proud of that.”
The third and final episode from part 1 of the two-art series reveals Archie’s favourite song as being Bennie And The Jets by Sir Elton John, who is a close friend of the couple.
Harry and Meghan are seen listening to music by the British music legend, with Meghan adding: “Archie loves Bennie And The Jets. It is his favourite song.”
