The date of the Coronation also happens to fall on King Charles’ grandson Archie’s birthday, who currently lives in California with his family. Despite this, royal expert Marlene Koenig said she would “expect” that Prince Harry will travel to the UK to attend his father’s Coronation, particularly due to the relationship stance.
Speaking to express.co.uk, Ms Koenig said: “Definitely, I was expect Harry to come to the Coronation.
“Simply because his father is the King.
“It’s not grandpa anymore, it’s dad.”
She added that compare to before, “it’s a whole different stratosphere for Harry.”
The date set for the Coronation has angered some fans of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
May 6, 2023 will mark the Sussexes’ son Archie’s fourth birthday.
One Twitter user, @hrhpluggles questioned whether the date was chosen “deliberately”.
Meanwhile another, @JenniferEWatts pointed out that royal fans “freak out” that Meghan and Harry “overshadowed” the Royal Family earlier this month, by releasing a picture just two days after a picture of the King, Queen Consort and the Prince and Princess of Wales was released but “by all means” the family can arrange the Coronation on Archie’s birthday.

The user added: “The audacity”.
Another user, @music2patrice) added: “Hmm, it is strange that the coronation is on Prince Archie’s Birthday”.
Tensions between Prince Harry and the rest of the Royal Family have heightened over the years, particularly since Harry stepped down as a senior royal in 2020.
The 38-year-old now resides in America, after stepping down to become “financially independent”.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex moved to Canada in 2020, before settling in California with their young son Archie, who was born in 2019.
The couple welcomed a second child, a daughter named Lilibet in June 2021.
The couple, and their two children, were in the UK in June 2022, to attend a few events for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
They also returned last month, for a short working trip without their children, but their visit was extended following the death of Queen Elizabeth II on September 8.
