This will reportedly reverse seven years of slow decline as post-lockdown trends unwind and according to research by Strutt and Parker, “prime central London” will become the strongest property market in the country.
London’s most expensive regions underperformed during the pandemic as buyers were pushed toward more rural locations and travel restrictions prevented international buyers from buying property.
However, Strutt and Parker predict that this trend will now reverse.

International buyers return to London
International buyers are returning to London following the end of lockdown and are causing house prices to surge.
Roarie Scarisbrick of Property Vision buying agents said: “International London is creaking back into life after a long hiatus, when tumbleweed was blowing through the streets of Mayfair and Knightsbridge. Now, American accents are heard across Hyde Park and our friends from the Middle East are back with their ludicrous cars.”
