Earlier this week, the newly-appointed Prince and Princess of Wales embarked on their first-ever royal visit under their new titles. The couple, both 40, arrived in Wales, meeting lots of eager royal fans along the way. Upon speaking to a group of people lining a street in Wales, Kate was spotted telling them how her three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis laugh about her looking “so young” in old pictures. This revelation had the crowd in stitches, with Kate adding that she has been with Prince William for two decades.

In the short clip, posted by mariahedges8 on TikTok, Kate is seen wearing a red coat whilst standing talking to the royal fans.

Kate spotted one royal fan holding up a flag with a photograph of Kate and William from their engagement.

The 40-year-old said to them: “Oh my goodness, is that from our engagement”.

Speaking of how they have been “married for 11 years” and “together for double that”, Kate proceeded to tell them that “we always laugh about this”.

Kate then made the crowd laugh by revealing that George, Charlotte and Louis look at old photos and say “Mummy, you look so young!”.

In the clip, Kate can also be heard saying how “nice” it is coming back to where she and William once lived before starting their family.

The royal couple lived in a four-bedroom Anglesey country house between 2011 and 2013, while William was stationed near Holyhead at RAF Valley.

The couple moved into their former home at Kensington Palace shortly after the birth of their eldest son George in July 2013.

Kate spoke of it being a “special day” coming back to the Island they once lived in. The Princess also noted how “lovely” the crowds were.

As well as Anglesey, the couple also visited Swansea – taking over a visit now King Charles was due to embark on earlier in the year but had to be postponed.

During celebrations for the late Queen’s Platinum Jubilee in June, the couple visited Cardiff with their two eldest children.

Prince George, 9, and Princess Charlotte, 7, were a surprise addition to Kate Middleton and Prince William’s Welsh outing.

Earlier this month, the couple moved to Windsor with their three children.

The family of five is now living in Adelaide Cottage and the children all attend Lambrook School.

The day before the Queen’s passing, the royal trio attended a ‘taster’ day at their new school.

Walking up to the school doors, Kate was spotted holding onto the hands of George and Louis, William held Charlotte’s hand.
