Roberta Fiorito and Rachel Bowie from the Royally Obsessed podcast discussed Prince William and Kate’s upcoming tenth wedding anniversary on April 29. The royal commentators wondered how the royal couple would be celebrating as the conversation focused on their recent visit to Westminster Abbey which has been turned into a vaccine centre. But while they visited their old wedding venue, Ms Fiorito noticed how Kate wore her mask and picked up a nifty tip from the royal.

Speaking on the Royally Obsessed podcast, Ms Bowie said: “I think it’s so weird that your wedding venue [Westminister Abbey] is now a vaccination clinic.

“It’s also such a fancy place to get a vaccine I would love to get vaccinated there.”

The pair then discussed Kate’s visit to the abbey in March to speak with health workers who operated there.

Mr Fioritio added: “Aside from her wearing white and I don’t know if you spotted this but you have such an eagle eye.

“Kate’s medical mask cap, so she takes the mask, and I struggle with this where it’s too big for me the medical mask and it doesn’t quite close all the gaps.

“And so she twists it like in a sort of figure-eight around her ears and that really tightens it up.”

She continued: “So I feel like that was just a genius move I’ve been doing it ever since I thought that was pretty cool, so smart.

“But it definitely made me think how they’re gonna honour ten years of marriage.

“You know, like that’s coming up and it’s quite an occasion to celebrate but I don’t know if we’ll see sort of an outpouring on social since they don’t typically do that for anniversaries.”

Ms Bowie also found similarities between Kate’s visit to Westminster Abbey and her wedding day adding it would be a conscious decision to have fashion matching.

She said: “I like that they use the parallels of the wedding to really draw a lot of attention to this [visit] because I think that that’s so important to draw attention to the vaccines right now and especially for younger people.

“And they know the press will pick up the story that she’s wearing white in Westminster Abbey where they got married and it’s the ten year anniversary and she copied the hairstyle that she had for the wedding.

“Like I just think it’s like she knows that the papers will pick that up and that’s so important because then all eyeballs are on the cause.

“They do like the most fabulous job on that.”

Some doctors debate the effectiveness of crossing the face mask ear loops with some stating it makes it less likely for glasses to fog up but may let in germs through the sides.

Kate and Prince William will celebrate their tenth wedding anniversary later this month but have typically celebrated anniversaries in private.
