Prince William’s wife married into the Royal Family ten years ago, accepting the responsibilities her new royal duties would entail. The day she and William wed, Kate was given the titles Duchess of Cambridge, Countess of Strathearn and Lady Carrickfergus by the Queen.

However, her titles will change once Prince Charles ascends to the throne.

With Prince William stepping up and becoming the Prince of Wales, Kate will also move up the ranks and become the Princess of Wales.

Kate is often described as a Queen-in-waiting as she will be consort when Prince William takes the throne.

Last month, the Duchess received praised from royal fans who expressed their excitement over the prospect of her one day becoming queen consort.

During a trip to Wolverhampton to mark Mental Health Awareness Week, Kate and William visited a number of organisations and had fun getting involved in sporting activities with the people they met.

The royal couple got to play ping pong and practice football and archery during the royal engagement.

Kensington Palace shared photographs of William and Kate’s day out on Twitter, sending royal fans into frenzy.

One wrote: “Duchess Catherine is such a beautiful, natural woman. Such a blessing to the Royal Family.

“What a wonderful Queen she will make beside Prince William when he is finally crowned King.”

Another shared footage Kate laughing during the event alongside the comment ‘My Queen!’

Another person said: “Yes The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge Are the face of the UK! They must take the throne!”

A third user commented: “Just love those 2 people W&K everything they do is for the good of others how much pleasure they give just by being among people joining in.”

Someone else added: “Love William and Catherine! They are always shining their light on others not themselves!”
