Like all children in the UK, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis are currently gearing up to begin the new school term next month. Earlier this week, it was announced that all three of the children are set to attend Lambrook School. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have always been adamant that they want to ensure their children have as normal upbringing as possible. Speaking on the latest episode of the Daily Express’ Royal Round-Up, royal correspondent Richard Palmer joined host Pandora Forsyth to discuss how Kate is set to take on a very “normal” task to prepare her children for their new schooling venture.

Ms Forsyth said: “I have seen on the [school] website that I think they have to sew on all their uniform, all their little name tags and stuff.

“So, I’m sure Kate will be very busy sewing away with all the different name tags.”

Mr Palmer agrees, and added: “That is very much something that I can imagine her doing actually.

“Rather than giving it to some funky to do.”

Ms Forsyth claimed this could be because she wants as much “a normal life as possible” for her children.

She added: “I don’t know how normal it can get though when you are part of the Royal Family, but there we are.”

Mr Palmer noted that apart the Duke and Duchess of Sussexes’ UK return, the Cambridge trio’s first day of school is one of the next upcoming moments in the royal calendar.

However, he added: “We have to be respectful of their right to enjoy their education without us.”

Kate and William to 'take turns' with school run says Palmer

The new school announcement coincides with the Cambridge’s move from Kensington Palace to Adelaide Cottage.

The family-of-five are set to move into their new residence next month, which is close by to Windsor Castle.

The move comes as the couple are continuing to ramp up their duties as senior working royals.

Despite the move, The Cambridges are said to be keeping their home at Kensington Palace, as well as their country home of Anmer Hall, which is located in Norfolk.

Aside from the Queen, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s new home is a short distance from Kate parents, Carole and Michael Middleton’s home.
