Lawyers of a US diplomat’s wife accused of crashing into teenager Harry Dunn have agreed to meet with with his family.
Harry, 19, was killed after his motorbike collided with a car outside an RAF base on August 27.
Anna Sacoolas, 42, who is reportedly married to a US intelligence official, is suspected of being involved in the crash after allegedly driving down the wrong side of the road.
However, she returned to the US after she was granted diplomatic immunity.
Radd Seiger, the Dunn family’s spokesperson, told Sky News on Saturday: ‘I have had a brief conversation with the legal representatives appointed on behalf of Anne Sacoolas and we have agreed to meet at the earliest opportunity.’
The family are appealing for witnesses to come forward if they saw Ms Sacoolas leaving the UK.
Mr Seiger added: ‘Anne Sacoolas left England to return to the USA following the road traffic collision outside RAF Croughton on August 27. The United States government has claimed she has the benefit of diplomatic immunity and has refused to grant the waiver sought by the British government.
‘I would urge anyone, on either side of the Atlantic, who has any information relating to Mrs Sacoolas’s return to the United States, whether before, during, or after her departure, to please come forward.’
