London panic as bomb threat sparks evacuation from vaccine centre at Walthamstow Library

Officers have been deployed to a vaccination centre at Walthamstow Library, with people urged to evacuate the area.

Waltham Forest police has said officers are investigating a “suspicious item” on Walthamstow high street.

The Victoria Line on the London Underground has also been suspended between Blackhorse Road and Walthamstow central.

Waltham Forest police wrote on Twitter: “We are dealing with a suspicious item in High Street #Walthamstow #E17.

“Cordons are in place.

One user wrote on Twitter: “#Evacuation #walthamstow #walthamforest #phizer threat of bomb to stop the Phizer clinic – we have to evacuate not very nice.”
