During the Royally Obsessed podcast, royal commentators Rachel Bowie and Roberta Fiorito discussed Princess Eugenie’s move into Frogmore Cottage following the birth of her son August. Ms Fiorito stated that Princess Eugenie has remained outside of the limelight due to the fallout from Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s interview with Oprah Winfrey.

Ms Fiorito said regarding Princess Eugenie: “I feel like she has been lost.

“Probably to her benefit that she can just enjoy those early months of motherhood in the privacy of her own home without the limelight.

The royal commentator added: “Did you see that Eugenie is back at Frogmore Cottage? That is where they moved.

“I feel like this was also something that was lost with everything around the Oprah interview.

“They drove home from the Portland hospital to Frogmore Cottage.”

Ms Bowie asked: “That is so interesting, how do we know this?

Ms Fiorito replied: “People Magazine reported it, that is where they went, straight home with August after his birth.”

Earlier this week, a royal commentator revealed that the Queen is funding non-working members of the Royal Family including Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie.

Queen pays for security of non-working royals reveals expert

Russel Myers told Sunrise that Queen Elizabeth II pays the security of the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester as well as both of Prince Andrew’s daughters.

The royal commentator stated that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s earnings from corporate deals meant the monarch would not fund their security.

Mr Myers was quizzed on whether the monarch pays for the security of any non-working members of the monarchy.

He said: “The thing is she will be paying for her cousins the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester.

“Beatrice and Eugenie will still have certain security paid for.

“It is a grey area, however, Harry and Meghan wanted to have one foot in and one foot out didn’t they?

“That was the issue for the Queen.

“She said you can’t go off and be earning millions of dollars in the corporate world if you still want to work for the firm.”
