Three HGV crashed on the M25 during the morning commute. The incident took place between junction 28 for Brock Street for Chelmsford and Brentwood. Congestion has been reported trailing back towards junction 29 in Upminster.
National Highways England reported that two lanes have been closed moving anticlockwise at junction 28.
They said: “The M25 anticlockwise at J28 Brook Street 2 lanes have been closed due to a collision involving 3 HGV’s.
“Traffic Officers are on their way to the area.
“Congestion building on the approach.”
Essex Travel also reported one lane is blocked on the anticlockwise slip road on the motorway.
They said: “M25 anticlockwise – accident involving two lorries blocking two lanes on the main carriageway of M25 at J28 (A12) –and one lane blocked on anticlockwise entry slip road.
“Anticlockwise queues on M25 back to J30 (A13) also queues on Londonbound A12 from J12 (Shenfield) to J11 (M25).”
