An 87-year-old man stabbed to death on his mobility scooter while allegedly ‘surrounded by youths’ in London has been named as a ‘much-loved’ charity fundraiser.
Thomas O’Halloran, from Greenford, was found bleeding from stab wounds on the side of a motorway on Tuesday afternoon.
A police spokesperson said on Wednesday: ‘Our community will be shocked and appalled by this incident as I am too.
‘We’re now able to name the man who has tragically lost his life as Mr Thomas O’Halloran, who lived in Greenford and was a very well-known and much-loved member of our community.’
