Matt Hancock will lead a Downing Street press conference on Monday, amid fears around the effectiveness of coronavirus vaccines on new variants.
It is unclear what the latest briefing will focus on, but the Health Secretary is likely to reassure people about Covid jabs.
It comes after provisional results from a study on the Oxford vaccine suggested it had limited effectiveness against the South African strain, though it is still believed to dramatically reduce severe illness.
The exact time of the briefing has not been announced, however they normally take place at 5pm.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson is expected to give an update on the way out of lockdown on February 22.
But earlier on Monday, ministers were attempting to reassure the public over the effectiveness of vaccines.
This is a breaking story – more to follow.
