The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are planning on taking maternity and paternity leave from their respective workplaces this summer, according to the source. Speaking to Vanity Fair, they said: “They will both take some proper time off.

“It will be the summer and they want to make sure they both take their leave so they have some real quality time together once the baby arrives.”

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced they were having another baby back in February, with their spokesperson saying: “We can confirm that Archie is going to be a big brother.

“The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are overjoyed to be expecting their second child.”

Page Six claims the couple are considering delivering their second child at home in Montecito.

A source told Page Six: “She has a beautiful home in California, it’s a beautiful setting to give birth to her baby girl.”

Prince Harry also took paternity leave after Archie’s birth.

It was cut short after three days when the Duke was called to the Netherlands to launch the countdown to the Invictus Games, according to reports.

When his son Archie was born, Prince Harry was still undertaking trips as a senior member of the Royal Family.

Now that he’s stepped down from the role, it is believed he’ll be able to spend more time with his new family.

During the interview with Oprah Winfrey, Prince Harry said he was “grateful” to be having another child.

He said: “To have any child, any one or any two, would have been amazing.

“But to have a boy and then a girl, what more can you ask for.
