Royal commentator Angela Levin claimed Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were partaking in a pseudo royal tour with their trip to New York. While speaking to Julia Hartly-Brewer on TalkRadio, Ms Levin also took issue with the couple’s ability to speak to important people. She questioned who the pair were to be able to acquire time with a UN ambassador and the Mayor of New York.

Ms Hartley-Brewer said: “Here we go again, lovely pictures of the young couple but once again you wonder are they just saying what they want to say and taking money from who they can and carry on living their lives as normal.”

Ms Levin claimed: “I think it is both funny and kind of shocking.

“This is because Meghan and Harry are doing a sort of pseudo royal trip.

“The list of what they are going to do is the same as I have received over the years when accompanying royals on an engagement.

Ms Levin continued to criticise Meghan and Harry for their ability to meet important figureheads.

Posting in view of their 11,000 followers, the Twitter user said: “I don’t know what’s more embarrassing, the Sussexes treating a visit to NYC like it’s a royal tour, or the Mayor and Governor treating it like it is.”

Another Twitter user, @loveforcambridg, agreed and said: “Yes exactly! It’s just wrong for them to do that because they aren’t working for the Firm anymore and aren’t neutral at all and to be with that man while using the titles! It’s a big mistake.”
