Meghan Markle’s Suits character lays law on new employee
Before Meghan Markle became the Duchess of Sussex, she had a successful acting career starring as Rachel Zane in the hit series Suits from 2011 until 2018.
But Meghan decided to swap her Hollywood lifestyle for a place in the royal family as she later stepped down from her part in the NBC legal drama before she announced her engagement to Prince Harry.
The actress was then written out of the series in 2017 where she made her last appearance as Rachel during the season seven finale.
Then in the November of that year, Prince Harry and Meghan announced their engagement to the world.
Shortly after their engagement, fans were left wondering what lays ahead for Meghan in her career – with many fearing she would give up acting for good.

“So we’re very very fortunate to be able to have that sort of longevity on a series and for me, once we hit the 100 episode marker I thought you know what I have.
“I have ticked this box and I feel really proud of the work I’ve done there and now it’s time to, as you [Harry] said, work as a team with you,” Meghan added.
Before revealing she was excited to be transitioning out of her career and into her role so that she could focus more on causes that are “really important” to her.
