Mike Tindall has taken to his own rugby podcast to talk about his “frustrating” spot at the King’s Coronation on May 6. He attended with wife Zara Tindall, who is a niece of King Charles III. Their three children – Mia, Lena and Lucas – did not join the historic celebrations, likely due to their young ages.

Mike told his fellow podcast host, former international James Haskell: “You’re in the hottest spot, but it’s happening all around the corner where you can’t see. You do have a front seat, but…”
He added: “It was unbelievable being sat there, but frustrating.”
The former rugby player then revealed that they had watched much of the ceremony on a TV screen placed on one of pillars in the Abbey.
The couple were sat in the row behind Prince Harry, as well as Princess Beatrice and Eugenie and their partners.
Mike and Zara sat in the fourth row alongside Prince Michael of Kent, Princess Michael of Kent, Peter Phillips, David Armstrong-Jones, Charles Armstrong-Jones and Lady Margarita Armstrong-Jones.
Seated in the front row was the Prince and Princess of Wales, as well as their two youngest children – Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis – and the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh.
Prince George held a starring role at the ceremony, therefore was seated in a different location to his parents and younger siblings.
A few days after the Coronation, Mike shared some snaps from, what he called, an “unbelievable 10 days!!!”
Mike also hinted that the days, which also included a few personal events, had tired him out.
In the caption of the fun-filled snaps and clips, Mike wrote: “Time to sleep!!”
Included in the clips was a picture of Mike wearing Zara’s blue hat from the Coronation ceremony.
Seemingly taken on May 6, Mike can be seen posing in his smart attire with Zara’s headpiece.
Mike also included a picture of himself with Zara – which appeared to be taken at the Coronation Concert.
At the concert, held in the grounds of Windsor Castle, fans were quick to notice Mike dancing along to the acts performing.
They took to Twitter to comment on Mike’s dancing skills, with one saying that he was “proper going for it there”. A second cheekily said that Mike had “been on the cans”.
