Morrisons opening hours: What time is Morrisons open this Easter Sunday and Monday?

Easter is here and families up and down the country will enjoy a few extra days off work and school. Chocolate egg hunts and BBQs will likely be enjoyed acorss the weekend, as this Easter could be one of the hottest on record if temperatures reach more than 25.3 degrees. So for those of you who need to nip out for some last minute bangers or kebab skewers, has all the opening hours details.

Opening times for Morrisons will vary over the Easter weekend.

But the majority of stores in England and Wales will follow these opening patterns: 

Easter Sunday, April 21 – Closed 

Easter Monday, April 22 – 8am to 7pm

But the best option is to check your local store for its opening times. 

What will the weather be like this weekend? 

This evening will be dry with sunny spells for many, although there will be patches of cloud for some Irish Sea coasts as well as parts of north Wales and the west Midlands. 

Overnight, patches of fog will develop around England and Wales, along with some light winds. 

Saturday will be mostly dry, sunny and warm for England and Wales. 

But there will be cloud in parts of Scotland and Northern Ireland with patchy rain in the far north-west. 

The evening should be fine and dry with further periods of sunshine across the country. 

Easter Sunday will begin mostly sunny and unseasonably warm but northern Scotland will have a cloudier and cooler day with spots of rain. 

Monday is expected to be dry and warm and mostly sunny for England, Wales and Scotland but there may be cloud at times in Northern Ireland.

Aidan McGivern at the Met Office said: “Certainly a ‘Good Friday’ if you like warm sunshine – plenty of it about. 

“Always colder on the coast, especially the North Sea coast. Those temperatures are on the rise.

“Strong sunshine on the rise up and down the country, all the way from Shetland to Southampton.

“Some patchy high cloud here and there – not a great deal, a bit more on Saturday.

“Possibly 24 degrees the top number on Good Friday, certainly looking likely to be the warmest day of the year so far.

“Plenty of fine weather on Saturday – another dry and bright day.”
