Mum with 21 children announces she's booked in to have induction for her 22nd

The mum of Britain’s biggest family has announced that she is soon to welcome her 22nd child.

Sue Radford, 44, said she has been booked in for an induction and added her unborn daughter is ‘growing really well.’

Sue, of Morecambe, Lancashire, took to the family’s YouTube channel to update her followers on the latest pregnancy.

Now at 29 weeks, she said: ‘She was doing brilliantly. Her head was measuring at 28 weeks, her leg was measuring at 30 weeks and so was her belly so she’s doing really well.

‘Her estimated weight is 3lbs 3oz, which is good because I thought she was smaller.

‘She’s still got time to have a growth spurt and she’s growing really well which is brilliant.’

Sue and husband Noel had said in 2018 there would be no more children after the arrival of Bonnie.

Even at the time, their eldest children doubted them and suggested they would make it an even number.

Last year, Sue announced to the family’s 134,000 YouTube subscribers that she was expecting.

Earlier this week she offered an update and showed a scan of her unborn daughter.

Sue added: ‘We have an induction date, I’m not sharing that date but we know when she’s going to be arriving it’s in the diary.’

The supermum had been concerned that her bump was small and shared her worries that the baby was not growing quickly enough.

But now she explained: ‘She’s moving loads, loads more, she’s really, really active now.

‘She goes absolutely crazy the minute I get into bed and lie on my side she just goes crazy.

‘I’m really pleased with the movement she’s doing really well which is good.

‘Obviously because she’s got a bit bigger I’m now getting much more movement.’

The Radfords are already parents to Chris, 30, Sophie, 25, Chloe, 23, Jack, 22, Daniel, 20, Luke, 18, Millie, 17, Katie, 16, James, 15, Ellie, 14, Aimee, 13, Josh, 12, Max, 11, Tillie, nine, Oscar, seven, Casper, six, Hallie, four, Phoebe, three, Archie two, and Bonnie, one.

The couple’s 17th child was born on July 6 2014 but was sadly still born.

They also have three grandchildren – who are Sophie’s kids – Daisy, six, Ayprill, four, and Leo, two.

The family, who only claim £170 in child benefits a week, have to rely on Noel’s bakery business to make ends meet and pay for their ten-bedroom house.

They spend around £350 a week on food, wash 18kg of clothes every day and spend three hours tidying up to keep their home in check.

The family shot to fame in 2008 when it emerged the baker and his wife were set to have their 13th child – a baker’s dozen.

The Radfords have claimed that they will stop at number 22.
