Paramedic dies in horror ambulance crash on Kent bypass

The air ambulance was also called to the scene, and the road was shut for several hours before reopening at around 8am.

During the closure, drivers were told to follow Hollow Circle signs on the A25 east into Sevenoaks, then A224 and A225 south to rejoin the A21.

A police spokesperson told Kent Online: “Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit have commenced and investigation and are asking anyone with dashcam footage prior to the incident to come forward.

“Anyone who witnessed the collision is also being asked to contact officers.”
