Passenger filmed throwing a tantrum over a crying baby on a plane

This is the disturbing moment a man on a Southwest Airlines flight launched into a screaming attack at flight attendants because of a crying baby.

Footage shared on TikTok shows a passenger throwing a tantrum about the cries on the plane heading to Orlando.

‘That child has been crying for 40 minutes,’ he can be heard shouting at the crew.

‘Calm the child down, please. I was sleeping. Do you want me to scream? Do you want me to scream?

‘Please stop the baby from crying, please. What the f**k. I know that you are not cool with it.’

As a flight attendant can be heard pleading with him to ‘stop yelling’, the man can be heard clapping back, ‘so is the baby’.

As an air steward can be heard saying that it is different because he is an adult, he yelled: ‘Did that motherf***er pay extra to yell?’

The video was posted by TikTok user @mjgrabowski and has now been watched more tens of thousands of times.

The ordeal unfolded when their flight was forced into a holding pattern around the area outside Palm Beach due to a bad weather front, the Daily Mail reported.

Frustrated by the noise, he rants about ‘paying for a comfortable flight’ before he begins to swear at the other passengers and airline staff.

Other travellers can be seen turning around to watch the kafuffle while the crew try to reason with the man.

Some found his tantrum hilarious and recorded themselves hysterically laughing as he told staff to ‘shut up’.

As a staff member asks him to lower his voice, he shouts back: ‘Can you lower that voice?’ in reference to the child’s howling.

On arrival at Orlando, the TikTok user explains the rowdy passenger refused to get off the jet.

He can be seen surrounded by authorities – including police officers – as he pleads his case.

The caption of the clip reads: ‘He tried to plead his case that he had a right to yell because there were two adults with the crying baby and he should have not been disturbed.’

The man was then reportedly marched through the airport by police, but it is yet unclear if he faced any consequences.

Southwest Airlines told in a statement: ‘We do not have details on this flight to share but commend our flight crew for their professionalism and offer our apologies to the other customers onboard.’

It is unclear exactly when the incident took place, but there is clearly something in the air as has reported on several flight incidents in the last 24 hours.

A drunk passenger was banned for life from flying with Jet2 after ‘peeing in the cabin and terrifying kids.’

Meanwhile, a man who drunkenly swore at cabin crew and fellow passengers on a flight from Jamaica to Manchester has been jailed.
