Earlier this month, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex confirmed they are expecting a second child. On Saturday, Princess Eugenie and husband Jack Brooksbank proudly showcased their newborn child to the world – revealing his name is August Philip Hawke Brooksbank.
Meghan and Eugenie’s pregnancies may have overlapped as royal commentators have predicted that the Duchess of Sussex is about five months along.
A family friend told People magazine: “They would have known about each other’s due dates.”
The source also claimed that Eugenie and Jack are now living in Meghan and Harry’s UK residence, Frogmore Cottage.
A royal insider told the magazine: “These times tend to bring families together.
“What is lovely is Eugenie having her baby as Harry and Meghan are having theirs.
“They are very close. And they are all deciding to go their own route.”
In an Instagram post, Eugenie shared three pictures of herself and Jack holding their son.
The caption read: “We wanted to introduce you to August Philip Hawke Brooksbank.
“Thank you for so many wonderful messages. Our hearts are full of love for this little human, words can’t express.
“We are excited to be able to share these photos with you.”
Meghan and Harry have not confirmed when their second child is due.
A spokesperson for the Sussexes said in a statement: “Archie is going to be a big brother.

However, royal commentators have predicted that Meghan will give birth around the end of Spring.
When the Sussexes’ announced their baby news they released a black and white picture which highlighted the Duchess’ prominent baby bump.
After the baby announcement, royal commentator Camilla Tominey told Today Extra: “Normally you would expect news to come along when she is three months, but we think she is about five months.”
If Ms Tominey’s predictions are correct, Meghan and Harry’s second child is likely to be due in the middle of 2021.
A source also told Us Weekly: “Meghan fell pregnant again toward the end of last year. The baby is due at the end of Spring.”
Prince Harry’s cousin and friend Zara Tindall is also thought to be expecting her third child in May making her and Meghan’s possibly due dates very close.
Prince Harry is known to share a special bond with his cousin Zara after growing up together, showing support to each other and sharing a love of sport.
