Royal expert Charles Rae has raised the possibility of Prince Andrew losing his royal title during a discussion on GB News. A US judge is currently weighing over a motion to dismiss a civil sex lawsuit brought against the Duke of York by Virginia Giuffre. Ms Giuffre claims she was trafficked by disgraced financier Epstein to have sex with Prince Andrew when she was underage. The Duke of York has denied all the allegations.
Mr Rae told GB News: “All the nine military organisations do not want him to remain as their Colonel in Chief or the order the representative.
“Most of the charities that are left with him also feel the same way.
“You mentioned about the loss of the royal title there is a possibility that he could be asked to relinquish the title The Duke of York if, in fact, the trial does go ahead in the autumn and he’s found guilty or it’s found against him to be perfectly honest because it’s a civil case, not a criminal case.
“But it’s the damage has been done. “

GB News presenter Eamonn Holmes said: “You know, all of this is affecting how we see him how we perceive him, what he can do what he cannot do, mean he can’t be on holiday this week.
“He can’t be there skiing with his wife and daughters can he?”
Mr Rae replied: “Well, no, because it would be impossible but can you imagine what the slopes would be like?
“They would be filled with skiing photographers all over the place.

The Duke of York’s legal team has argued a “settlement agreement” agreed by Ms Giuffre should see her lawsuit against Prince Andrew thrown out.
A 12-page document has been made public which lays out the terms of a £370,000 payout made by convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein to Ms Giuffre in 2009.
The document detailed that Ms Giuffre agreed to “release, acquit, satisfy, and forever discharge” Epstein and “any other person or entity who could have been included as a potential defendant”.
Ms Giuffre’s legal representative David Boies argued the settlement is “irrelevant to the case against Prince Andrew”.
