Prince George, Charlotte and Louis make cards for ‘Granny Diana’ on Mother’s Day

Three cards were posted on the official Kensington Royal Instagram account to celebrate Mother’s Day.

A caption explained: “Each year on Mother’s Day, George, Charlotte and Louis make cards remembering their Granny, Diana, for William.”

George’s card depicts a tree and other foliage against a hilly backdrop and bright sun.

Inside he wrote: “Dear Granny Diana.

“Happy Happy Mothers Day. I love you very much and think of you always.

“Sending lots of love from George xxxxx.”

Princess Charlotte drew a large multi-coloured heart on a pink background.

It is surrounded by a number of flower and butterfly stickers to complete the effect.

Beneith the heart Charlotte added: “Dear Granny Diana.

“I am thinking of you on Mother’s Day.

“I love you very much, papa is missing you.

“Lots of love Charlotte xxxxxxxxx.”

Prince Louis also coloured in a heart using a mixture of green, yellow and red.

This was situated on a green background and decorated with small cut out animals, insects and birds.

Louis, who is only two years old, didn’t write a message but did sign the card with his name.
