Prince Harry has dressed up as Spiderman to send a special Christmas message to bereaved military children.

He donned the superhero suit to record a short clip for Scotty’s Little Soldiers.

The charity works with hundreds of young children who have experienced the death of a parent who served in the Armed Forces.

In the clip, Harry wishes those watching a very Happy Christmas ahead of the charity’s festive party.

The Duke of Sussex added: ‘Christmas is a time where we miss our loved ones really, really badly and that’s okay.

‘At the same time it can be possible to feel guilty for having fun without out parents.

‘But I’m here to assure you that our parents always want us to have fun.

‘So don’t feel guilty, you are allowed to have the best time ever, especially with the Scotty’s Little Soldiers community.

‘Merry Christmas.’

Harry then removed his Spiderman mask to flash a smile at the camera before waving goodbye.

The Christmas message was played to members of Scotty’s Little Soldiers at their annual party.

The event welcomed more than 100 young charity members, who had all experienced the death of a parent who served in the British Armed Forces.
