Prince Harry ‘loving the California lifestyle’ says insider

Katie Nicholl told Entertainment Tonight that the Duke of Sussex is thriving in his laid-back lifestyle in California. Meghan Markle and Prince Harry live in an £11 million mansion in the Montecito neighbourhood of northern Los Angles.

Ms Nicholl said: “I think possibly there was a time when Harry may have felt a little homesick.

“I think he was missing home when his father and brother were ill with Covid last Spring.

“But I think he is loving the California, west-coast lifestyle, it suits him.

“He has always been a very laid-back person, he loves nature and being by the ocean.

The royal commentator also discussed the Duke of Sussex’s relationship with Queen Elizabeth II.

She stated that Prince Harry has regular contact with his grandmother over video calls.

Ms Nicholl outlined that despite Prince Harry moving to LA with Meghan Markle his relationship with the Monarch has not changed.

Ms Nicholl said: “Harry is in touch with his father the Prince of Wales and he is in quite regular contact with the Queen.

“She is always delighted to see Archie on video calls and it is very important to her that she touches base with Harry.

“She is in touch with them, she knows what is going on in their lives, they discuss their plans with her.

“Harry has always seen his grandmother as a mentor.

“While he might be in LA that has not changed.”

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stepped down as senior members of the Royal Family at the end of March 2020.

The couple has since signed lucrative deals with both Netflix and Spotify.
