Prince William and Prince Harry have not seen each other in person since the Duke and Duchess of Sussex relocated to the United States in March 2020. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle caused some uproar among royal files when they announced a major sit-down interview with talk show host Oprah Winfrey. Plans to go ahead with the interview despite Prince Philip still being in the hospital had the Duke of Cambridge become “livid” with his brother, according to royal commentator Katie Nicholl.

Speaking to Good Morning Britain, Ms Nicholl said: “The Duke of Cambridge is said privately to be livid…it’s the word that was described by a friend of his

“Of course, this is taking place against a very sensitive situation. The Duke of Edinburgh is very unwell in hospital.”

Prince Philip has been undergoing treatment for a pre-existing condition for the past two weeks.

After an initial stay at the private King Edward VII hospital, he was moved to St Bartholomew’s Hospital earlier in the week.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced they would be speaking with Oprah Winfrey with a statement released by their spokesman and CBS last month.

Clips on the exchange have already been shared online, with the preview suggesting rather explosive comments will be made.

The interview, originally billed for 90-minutes and then extended to two hours, will be airing in the United States on Sunday evening (1AM GMT).
