Prince William has honoured military members for helping to support the NHS in vaccinating priority groups. The Duke of Cambridge was speaking with men and women from the British Army, Royal Navy and Royal Air Force. The country’s Armed Forces have been playing a vital role in the rollout of the coronavirus vaccine across the UK.
He asked the attendees: “You’re hearing hope and optimism coming out now people are seeing a light at the end of this tunnel?”
One member said: “We’ve still got a long way to go.
“But a lot of people come in with that keen, eeger enthusiasm because they do start to see light at the end of the tunnel.
“It’s a real joy and privilege to be there to help get them there.”
