Prince William 'angry' about 'racism' label on royals says expert

A Royal Family source told US Weekly that Queen Elizabeth II is insisting the dispute with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry is handled privately. However, the insider added that Prince William is “struggling to hold back” and wants to address some of the allegations made by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
The source stated: “The Queen is insisting that the royals handle the matter privately”.
The insider added that Queen Elizabeth II “thinks that retaliating will only add fuel to the fire and make the situation worse.”
Regarding the Duke of Cambridge, the source said: “William is struggling to hold back.
“He wants to get his side out there.”
The insider added that Prince William wants to “clear the racial allegations” made against the Royal Family during the Oprah interview.
Last month, royal commentator Andrew Morton told ITV that Prince William and Prince Harry’s mother Princess Diana would be enjoying the aftermath of the interview with Oprah Winfrey.
He stated that Princess Diana nearly did an interview with Oprah Winfrey before eventually choosing to speak to the BBC’s Martin Bashir.
However, the royal biographer admitted Princess Diana would not be happy that her sons are feuding.

Andrew Morton has published biographies on a number of royal figures including Princess Diana during his career.
He told ITV: “I think the irony is she would be enjoying it.
“It is almost like Diana is getting her revenge from beyond the grave.
“Remember that she was the trailblazer in this, she put the boot into Prince Charles 20 odd years ago.

“She talked about wanting to be the Queen of people’s hearts, which prompted the Queen to get involved with their divorce.”
The royal commentator added: “Oprah was going to interview her and then Martin Bashir swooped in.”
Mr Morton also stated Princess Diana would want Prince Harry and Prince William to resolve the dispute.
He said: “She would want William and Harry to reconcile.”
