Princess Beatrice was snapped as she attended the film’s UK premiere with its director, Ann Hu.

An independent film, Confetti follows a Chinese family as they move to America after discovering their daughter has dyslexia and needs a school better equipped for her needs. It is said to show not only the issues facing a family in this situation, but also the value in the different perspectives of neurodivergent people.

This is something Beatrice is intimately familiar with after she was diagnosed with dyslexia at seven years old – but chose to see it as a blessing, rather than a curse, and has since supported charities that help dyslexic people and aimed to change the narrative surrounding it.

After having a successful US release, the film is now ready to hit UK cinemas with today’s unusual opening event featuring an NFT art collection.

Beatrice and Ann looked like great friends as they posed for photos on their way into the premiere.

The Princess is not the only royalty to be in attendance, with Queen Diambi Kabatusuila, the traditional queen of the African Bakwa Dashi tribe, also making an appearance, as well as His Highness Sheikh Hamad.

An unusual feature of the premiere is an NFT art collection depicting the main characters of the film.
