Princess Beatrice was scheduled to marry Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi on May 29 this year before lockdown measures postponed their plans. The couple chose to tie the knot after dating for two years, while Beatrice’s sister waited much longer.
Princess Eugenie and her now-husband, Jack Brooksbank, met in 2011 on a skiing trip.
At the time, the Princess was 20 and Mr Brooksbank 24, and she confessed to her mother she had met “someone special”.
They eventually started dating amid “butterflies and nerves”, but they didn’t get engaged until some time later.
The couple tested the waters of their relationship for five years before reports emerged they were planning to get engaged in 2016.

During two years of their relationship, Princess Eugenie lived in New York, where she was pursuing a career in art.
When they got engaged, Eugenie said: “We met when I was 20 and Jack was 24, fell in love, and we have the same passions and drive for life.”
They announced their engagement in 2018 but allegedly had to hold off due to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
A source told Vanity Fair they had decided to get engaged “some time” before their eventual announcement but had to “wait for Harry to go first”.
The source said: “It’s my understanding that Eugenie and Jack decided some time ago that they wanted to get married, and there was some talk about a wedding in 2017, but they had to wait for Harry to go first.
“The feeling among the Yorks is that she deserves her moment in the spotlight and a big royal wedding with all the frills.”
The source added Princess Eugenie had no issue with the postponement, however.
They added: “There are no bad feelings at all.”

“Eugenie is very close to Harry, and she knows how the system works.”
Princess Beatrice and her fiancee Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi likely will not have the same clash when they eventually get married, but there is currently no word on when they will hold their ceremony.
A source speaking to PEOPLE Magazine said the couple is “not even thinking” of the wedding during the coronavirus crisis.
They told the US-based magazine: “There are no plans to switch venues or hold a bigger wedding.”
“They aren’t even thinking about their wedding at this time.
“There will come a time to rearrange, but that’s not yet.”
Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi originally planned to marry at St James Palace this month, followed by a reception hosted by Queen Elizabeth II at Buckingham Palace.
The last royal to marry at the venue was Queen Victoria in 1840.
