REVEALED: How Prince Harry left barman ‘BAFFLED’ on ‘EXPENSIVE’ royal night out

The Duke of Sussex is about to become a father, as his wife, Meghan Markle, is currently nine months pregnant. The baby is expected to arrive in the next few days and royal fans are eager to see the Prince embracing his paternal side. The Duke has without a doubt already settled into a more mature role as husband, but many still remember him as the party boy of the Royal Family.

Before entering into blissful married life with Meghan, Harry was known for his rebellious side and his most scandalous antics include being infamously pictured dressed as a Nazi in 2005 and in 2012 being photographed naked in a Las Vegas hotel after a game of strip billiards.

According to a newly-resurfaced documentary, the Duke also had some questionable “spending habits” in the old days of his carefree youth.

In 2019 Channel 5 documentary “Secrets of the Royals”, royal author Katie Nicholl recalled: “I was told that the Prince was at Amika nightclub many years ago with Chelsy Davy and a group of friends, and he had run up a pretty sizeable bar bill.

“When it came to the end of the evening, of course the Prince never carries cash on him, none of the royals ever do.

“Prince Harry tried to pay with his army identity card, which of course left the barman rather baffled.

“He called for the manager to see exactly what to do about this transaction and the bill was waved.”

It was not the first time the Duke of Sussex had his bills “taken care of”, though.

Ms Nicholls also claimed that the rumour was that in Las Vegas, Harry reportedly racked up a £30,000 bill but did not have to pay a penny of it.

She said: “When Prince Harry ran up that £30,000 bill, Steve Wynn, the owner of the hotel where Harry was staying, just wiped the slate clean.”

Prince Harry’s wife, Meghan, is also known for having excessive spending habits and she has been often accused of being “wasteful”.

In January, royal fashion experts, UFO NO More, calculated that Meghan spent £406,662.55 in 2018 alone.

The figure does not include her Givenchy wedding gown, said to cost £387,000, which would bring the total to more than £700,000.

In February, the California native also had a lavish baby shower in New York, which is believed to have cost around £300,000.
