Data published by analytics service Bot Sentinel found that the Duchess has been targeted by three anti-Meghan YouTube channels which accumulated a total of 497 million views in a £2.8million “hate-for-profit enterprise”. Christopher Bouzy, founder of Bot Sentinel described the attacks against Meghan as “nonsense” and “conspiracy theories”.However, as part of the Online Harms Bill, trolls could be sentenced to two years in prison for posting messages “likely to cause harm”, as Number 10 cracks down on the type of abuse received by Meghan.
