Royal Family site updates line of succession reflecting major change

The Royal Family’s website has outlined the new position senior members will hold now the Queen has been succeeded by King Charles III.

The change confirmed the new roles of Prince and Princess of Wales for Prince William and Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge and Cornwall.

The website however did not update the status for Prince Harry’s children, who still appear as Master Archie Mountbatten-Windsor and Miss Lilibet Mountbatten-Windsor.

Royal commentator Omid Scobie noted: “The Palace has updated the line of succession on their website to reflect William and Kate’s new titles.

“As son of the King, Harry’s children have the right to become HRH Prince Archie and HRH Princess Lilibet. Right now, however, the two are listed with their original stylings.
