The once-close brothers have faced ongoing claims of a rift.
William revealed during a royal engagement on Thursday that he has not yet spoken to Harry in the wake of his and Meghan’s tell-all interview, which saw them make a series of explosive claims about the Royal Family including allegations of racism.
As he visited a school with Kate, William was asked by a reporter if he had been in touch with Harry since the interview.
He replied: “No, I haven’t spoken to him yet, but I will do.”
The reporter also asked: “Is the Royal Family a racist family, sir?”
The future king replied: “We’re very much not a racist family.”
During the Sussexes’ interview with Winfrey, Harry addressed his rift with his older brother.
He said: “The relationship is space at the moment. And time heals all things, hopefully.”
He added: “I love William to bits, he’s my brother, we’ve been through hell together, we have a shared experience, but we were on different paths.”
The brothers are due to be reunited in July at the unveiling of a statue to honour their late mother, Princess Diana.
A source insisted the siblings will “put on a united front” for the event.
The insider told the Mirror: “Tensions are undoubtedly running high but they both realise it is important to put any differences aside for the ceremony at least.

“There is definitely a feeling that both camps are prepared to come together and put on a united front for such a special occasion.”
According to the book Finding Freedom, the rift began when Harry was angered by what he perceived as William’s “snobbish” attitude after he questioned whether his younger brother should rush his romance with Meghan.
Following the Queen’s Sandringham summit in January to deal with Megxit, William and Harry reportedly stopped speaking for two months.
And tensions were apparent at the Sussexes’ final royal engagement in March 2020.
William and Harry’s bond appeared to be unbreakable as they grew up.
The brothers were united in their experience of a royal childhood and losing their mother Princess Diana.
Harry said when he was 21: “It’s amazing how close we’ve become.
“I mean, ever since our mother died, obviously we were close, but he is the one person on this earth who I can actually really … we can talk about anything. We understand each other and we give each other support.”
