In their first Christmas card as a family-of-four, Harry, 37, and Meghan, 40, said their son now calls his parents “mama” and “papa”. The touching trait is also what Prince Charles, 73, called his later father, Prince Philip. In their Christmas card, Harry and Meghan also showed fans a glimpse of their daughter Lili.
Like his grandson, Charles also referred to his father as “papa” in a touching tribute to Philip following his passing earlier this year.
He also praised the support he had received from royal fans across the world following Philip’s death.
Charles said: “My dear papa was a very special person who I think, above all else, would have been amazed by the reaction and the touching things that have been said about him.
“And from that point of view we are, my family, deeply grateful for all that.
“It will sustain us in this particular loss and at this particularly sad time.
“I particularly wanted to say that my father, for I suppose the last 70 years, has given the most remarkable, devoted service to The Queen, to my family and to the country, but also to the whole of the Commonwealth.
“As you can imagine, my family and I miss my father enormously.
“He was a much loved and appreciated figure and apart from anything else, I can imagine, he would be so deeply touched by the number of other people here and elsewhere around the world and the Commonwealth, who also I think, share our loss and our sorrow.”

In their charming picture, Harry is cradling his son, both wearing shirts and denim jeans.
Meghan can be seen holding Lili who is wearing a white outfit as the pair sit on what appears to be their porch.
In the picture, taken by wedding photographer, Alexi Lubomirski, the pair also spoke of the pleasure of being made a family.
They said: “This year, 2021, we welcomed our daughter, Lilibet, to the world.

“Archie made us a ‘Mama’ and a ‘Papa’, and Lili made us a family.
“As we look forward to 2022, we have made donations on your behalf to several organizations that honour and protect families – from those being relocated from Afghanistan to American families in need of paid parental leave.”
The picture was shared by Team Rubicon, a non-government organisation which supports international disaster relief.
It is unclear when Harry and Meghan will travel back to the UK to introduce their daughter to members of the Firm.
Meghan is yet to return to the UK after the pair announced their complete departure as working royals and relocated to California.
Harry did return to the UK for his grandfather’s funeral in April and for a ceremony to honour his late mother.
