The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, 37 and 40, created Archewell in 2020 as a non-profit organisation. But it has since been revealed the Archewell website, which offers fans updates on the Sussexes’ “compassion in action”, has a strange pop-up that appears if fans hover on the page for more than 20 minutes.

“We love having you here”, it reads.

“But we’re mindful of your screen time.

“Why not take a break?

“We’ll be here.”

According to the Telegraph, the message to limit screen time is a part of the Sussexes’ wider mission to improve users’ online experience.

The broadsheet highlighted that one of Archewell’s partners, the Centre for Humane Technology, has promoted turning off notifications, removing “toxic” apps and tracking your screen time.

The couple’s website adds: “As we increasingly understand the direct link between technology and its effect on each of us – online and offline – Archewell Foundation will continue to prioritise critical work around the state of our digital world.”

Harry and Meghan’s website underwent a revamp last week, just after the couple featured on the frontpage of Time magazine.

The modified page claims that Archewell wants to “unleash the power of compassion to drive systemic cultural change”.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex recently embarked upon a tour of New York.

During their visit, the estranged Sussexes attended a 9/11 memorial, a concert in Central Park and were snapped enjoying drinks out.

At the concert, known as Global Citizen Live, Harry and Meghan urged the 60,000 spectators and many more online to do what is necessary to “end this pandemic”.
