Kensington Palace has announced Prince William will be visiting Dubai on February 10 to mark the UAE’s 50th year and UK National Day being held at Expo 2020 Dubai. William and his wife Kate, Duchess of Cambridge, have embarked on many successful royal trips abroad in the past. But this will be William’s first major overseas visit since before the coronavirus pandemic struck in 2020.

Newlyweds Kate, Duchess of Cambridge and Prince William visited the US in July 2011 as part of their first joint overseas tour. The couple looked happy and very dapper during their visit to the Santa Barbara Racquet and Polo Club for a charity polo match.
Prince William and Kate, Duchess of Cambridge visited Singapore in 2012 to mark the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee year. Kate looked radiant in an appropriately themed floral dress upon her and William’s visit to the Singapore Botanical Gardens.
The Solomon Islands, 2012
In 2012, Kate and William toured Singapore, Malaysia, the Solomon Islands and Tuvalu. Kate and William looked delighted while travelling in a traditional canoe to Tuvanipupu Island during their visit.
Kate and William visited Australia during a royal tour in 2014 and to the delight of royal fans, the couple brought their baby son Prince George. George looked delighted with the toy bilby he’d been given!
William, Kate and George waved to crowds before leaving Canberra, Australia, in 2014. The couple had concluded their three-week royal visit of Australia and New Zealand, which also marked Prince George’s first official trip overseas with his royal parents.
Prince William and Kate, Duchess of Cambridge visited India in 2016 as part of a royal tour. Famously, William’s mother Princess Diana was pictured sitting in front of the Taj Mahal during a previous royal tour, so Kate and William took the opportunity to sit in the same spot for a photo when they visited.
2016 was a busy year for Kate and William, and in September, they embarked on an eight-day tour of Canada. The couple were joined by Prince George and Princess Charlotte (little Prince Louis wasn’t born until 2018) while attending a children’s party for military families in Victoria.
In 2019, Kate and William visited Pakistan for a royal tour. On day two of their visit, Kate and William attended a reception at the Pakistan National Monument in Islamabad, and Kate wore a dazzling green dress for the occasion.
